Definition

Operations after significant weight loss concern everyone who wants to correct their silhouette. This occurs after a food rehabilitation or after surgery type sleeve or by-pass.
It is the combination of the different operations allowing to remove the excess cutaneo-greasy consecutive with a loss of weight.
This concerns the belly, the waist, the love handles, the arms, the breasts and the thighs. At the cost of scars due to the excision of the tissues, the excess tissues are eliminated and the silhouette regains harmony to feel better.

What are the operations after weight loss?

Most often it is abdominoplasty for the belly.
For the thighs it is the lifting of the thighs with liposuction sometimes associated.
The relaxed skin of the arms is corrected by an arm lift.
Similarly for the breasts that are reassembled and reshaped thanks to the lifting of the arms sometimes with the pose of associated breast prostheses.
In case of a more complete operation for the thighs, the hips and the waist one speaks of body-lift.

Indications

Who is the operation for?

The body-lift is aimed at patients who have regained their weight and are stabilized at this one without associated medical pathology too disabling.
Tobacco is particularly to be banned in view of the poor scarring of the tissues it causes.

What are the areas concerned?

It is mainly belly (abdominoplasty) and breasts (breast lift with prostheses or not). This also applies to the arms (lifting of the arms) and the thighs (lifting of the thighs with liposuction). The buttocks can also be corrected.

After the surgery

How is the operation going?

 Operations require hospitalization for several days in the clinic.
In some cases we can combine two operations at the same time depending on the total operating time and the consequences.

And after the intervention?

Convalescence requires from 2 to 3 weeks before resuming a socio-professional activity.

Are there disadvantages?

It is especially the scars which although discreet and positioned above the pubis remain visible.  Later they fade and are hidden in the natural folds.

What is the rate of the operations after weight loss?

 The quote will be indicated during the consultation depending on the type and number of operations envisaged. In fact, in view of the peculiarity of each person, the antecedents and the various possible operations it is in consultation that the cost of the operations will be established.
The assumption of the expenses of clinic and a refund of the full or partial fees can be granted after prior agreement especially for the operation of the belly, thighs and arms.
